Ayr sex offender sentenced for Snapchats to 'girl, 13'
A sex offender caught sending indecent messages to a '13-year-old girl' - who was in fact an undercover police officer - avoided jail on his return to court.
Christopher Bradley was given community service as punishment after admitting to sending the sexual messages, including telling the 'child' he was a 'cuddler'.

Ayr man called 999 claiming police kidnapped him during lift
An Ayr man phoned 999 reporting police for 'kidnapping him' after officers offered him a lift home when drunk.
Daniel O'Hara pleaded guilty to falsely representing to the emergency services that he required an ambulance and that he had 'been kidnapped' while in the back of a police vehicle.

A Saltcoats man is awaiting sentence after he admitted neglecting his dog in Muirkirk, causing the pet to require euthanasia.
Jack Lockwood pleaded guilty to causing a Staffordshire bull terrier cross-type dog called Pepper unnecessary suffering while being a person responsible for the animal.

An Albanian man caught at an Irvine cannabis farm was only in visiting to use the washing machine - a court has been told.
Sadik Marku, described as being in the UK illegally, was jailed after watering plants during the one occasion he visited the Neil Avenue cultivation.
